Not Bad Bungie

After the last releases of DLC by Bungie for Destiny I wasn’t really sure about if I would really stick with the franchise for the next 10 years but after seeing The Taken King, I think there could be a future for Destiny 

  
Plot

After killing Crota you have made his father Oryz very mad and now he is basically trying to kill you but do not fear as a guardian someone has got your back and will help you take out this crazy man.

With an expansion pack filled with incredible new guns, new enemies and even new subclasses there is plenty of fun to have in this DLC
  
Lighting Maniac

With all of the classes there is a specific mission abit like a communion for guardians which allows them to embrace their powers and give it a go with a never ending stream of super chargers to kill a endless stream of enemies.

  
With this guardian you can summon the power of lighting to pass through your fingers and fry any enemy, it is a lot of fun and literally makes you feel invincible but during regular gameplay probably won’t have that much of an impact. 

  
Bad Ass Tomb Raider

Similarly to the bow and arrow that Ms Croft obtains you have now become the Lara Croft of Destiny and you are now in charge of a bad ass bow which allows you to connect enemies by this power line link to other enemies which allows you to take them out just like that.

  
Although my description does not really do it justice, I would honestly say this is my favourite out of the 3. It really takes off a lot of life off the enemies and is just so fun to have control of.
  
HAMMER TIME

If you are looking for a guardian that can shoot fire out of a crazy hammer and take out enemies just like that then this is the guardian for you. 

This Titan doesn’t mess when it comes to super chargers. When enemy see them coming they will definitely run. 

  
Although this subclass doesn’t really impact on taking out a lot of enemies, it is definitely a crazy and fun time but I think as this subclass progresses it will definitely get better 

(F.Y.I- the trailer makes the Titan look so much better than it is) 

   
   
I think overall I really enjoyed the landscape for his DLC too. Although some missions were still in familiar areas that we all know, there were also brand new places that looks incredible and I really liked the kind of vibe they have created in this one. 

HOW COULD I FORGET?!!

Ooh and I also forgot to mention, all classes get a new dance move too, so look forward to those mini raves we all have in the tower with everyone showing off their new moves 
The Verdict

Overall I feel this DLC has done pretty well and I’m looking forward to seeing what Bungie has to over next for the foreseeable future!!

The Last of Us…..2

After the Live stream about Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection with Josh Scherr (writer) there is one comment that really sparked peoples interest.

All the facial animation in the Uncharted games and the first The Last of Us – uh, did i say the first The Last of Us

Now, this could mean many things:

 

Left Behind

I find this very unlikely but Josh could have been referring to the DLC Left Behind that came out shortly after the game was  released but if he was just talking about the DLC i feel he wouldn’t of stuttered and stayed on the point of saying The first The Last of Us.

 

The Last of Us Remastered

Hmmm, this could be an option but i doubt because it is still the game but just remastered but there quite bit of improvements that were made to the game but nothing like a different type of animation design or anything like that.

 

Those are just some suggestions for what his comment could of implied but earlier in the year Nolan North did speak about The Last of Us 2 when asked about any projects with Naughty Dog he said

Not yet, I know they’re doing The Last of Us 2

This once again sparked a lot of interested into whether the game will be made but no one from Naughty Dog has actually confirmed anything yet some it is not 100% going head yet but…i think we all know The Last of Us is definitely on the tables in the near future. Especially since Uncharted 4 will be the last instalment for the franchise so after that they may focus on The Last of Us and what is going to come from the whole series.

The Last of Us – Left Behind

Naughty Dog couldn’t just leave everyone happy with their incredible title (The Last of Us) in 2013, they had to go and wow us again with their powerful DLC, Left Behind

I remember when this was first announced and everyone was eager and going crazy to find out what it was all about and the story with Ellie and the Riley that we briefly heard of in the original game.

When I finally got the chance to see the DLC, it captured my heart and just brought back the love I had for The Last of Us. It was a beautiful little story that just allowed you to see such a large moment in Ellie’s life. With just playful gameplay, you really begin to focus on who Riley is and their friendship together and everything about the DLC really just felt real. I could almost see myself and my friends in the friendship that they had together and as the DLC comes to an end you really feel the emotions with Ellie and Riley and somehow relate, despite not having the experience in a post apocalyptic world.

I feel Naughty Dog really pulled off a task that not many games are able to pull off, and that is being able to capture pure human behaviour and make it seem real. Every single gesture, every single word was just on point and near perfect. Without this, Left Behind would be a complete fail and it would just be empty and no different to any other zombie game.

I knew Naughty Dog would pull off something great but I never thought it would be that good.
I just thought it was just real and really raw and authentic and I just wanted more once it had ended. You really begin to see the playful childlike side to Ellie that you have never seen before and it is definitely a DLC that every gaming should experience.

The Last of Us – New DLC “Grounded”

The new DLC looks awesome!!!
So many new things added and it looks great and runs so smoothly!!

They have added so many features for people who liked to play in different ways, whether you prefer face to face combat or killing from a distance.
